I spent years chasing hundredths of a second. But some of the biggest lessons I've learned came away from the track. Fifteen years at the top of world athletics taught me about pressure, teamwork and what it takes to perform when it really matters — and it gave me moments I'll never forget: Olympic silver in Atlanta, World and European gold, and a British Indoor 400m record that still stands nearly three decades later.
When the racing stopped, the next chapter began. I moved into television — Question of Sport, Dancing on Ice, Celebrity Mastermind, and presenting for the BBC and ITV — and I didn't stop there. I've built and backed businesses across fundraising, fashion and wellbeing, from BidAid's charity technology to Crow & Jester tailoring and the Wellness Worldwide Club retreats.
What ties it all together is a belief in resilience, reinvention and honest conversation. Whether I'm speaking to a room of executives, working with a brand, or mentoring young people, I talk about the real stuff: winning, losing, identity, setbacks and how you keep moving forward.
This site is the best place to understand who I am, what I do now and how we might work together.
